Okay, I am starting to wonder if I am getting a little too critical. After all, not everyone has perfect spelling or grammar, right? Not even me:) It's such a turn off though! I got a message from a guy, and his first line was, "I seen we were about the same age." I seen? I seen?
I was reading these things out loud to my Mercy pals the other night, and they thought I should have my own amateur comedy routine where all I do is read these Match profiles and messages. It is entertaining, but mostly to the people who know me.
Today, I am waiting for a call from a 42 year old. I really wanted to avoid the whole phone-conversation-with-a-complete-stranger thing, but he insists on calling me so we can figure out a time to go out for a couple of drinks. Isn't that what texting is for?
Otherwise, 99% of my emails and winks so far have not been very interesting or have not been from people I am interested in meeting. Again with the picky. Oh well. It's a new week.
